Afternoon chaps,

I'm thinking of booking a full day at Snetterton in June but i'm not sure if it will suit my car (track prepped 106 Rallye), I can keep up with the lower powered Caterham/Westfield type cars, would it suit them?

Snetterton is a quick track, but I like it. I have a Caterham R300 and the track is a hoot.

Just have a quick snooze on the main straight - the big power cars will blow past you there but you can chase them through the Bombhole and round Coram before they pull away again on the start-finish straight

Great circuit, quite technical, always fun

yeah the revett straight is very long (longest in britan may be)bomb hole coram is a good section when you link it up into the hair pin. Overall fairly flat and fast but i think fun.

I'd have to say that there's a lot of better cicuits available for a Rallye than Snett. How about Cadwell or Oulton?

Another vote for cadwell park - I've got a 1.6 civic and at snetterton the straights are quite boring. Cadwell ismuch more interesting - especially if its a bit damp! What you lack on the straights can be more than made up through the corners.

I have a track prep'd 205 and I had no issues at snetterton, in fact I really enjoyed it. True the bigger boys get past on the straight but anywhere else I can be all over the back of them. Great fun. Bombhole was excellent when you hook it up just right.

I'm off to Cadwell next month, really looking forward to that.

Have to agree - did like going through the bombhole - carried a bit too much speed though and its fair to say the grass around the outside of corham is very bumpy!

yes potential for a nasty off there if your not careful or just unlucky and the grass is wet/damp

My mate has a S2 106 16v conv. and is doing brands today with snett booked in June.

I drive a kitcar and had the same thoughts with that long straight. It wouldnt be my first choice of tracks but ive read including posts from this thread good things about the track - just not sure if I fancy having mine bounce off the limiter halfway down the straight wobble
