Good evening all, does anyone own one of these? I'm seriously tempted, would like to what service costs are like compared to usual BMW 3 series? Reading through several reviews i get the impression most journalists like the car. seems like the perfect all rounder??

Not owned or driven one but I saw a white one on the M42 on Friday morning. It looked stunning, the new reworking of the classic Alpina front end looks great.

If it's any help, Evo have one as a long termer atm.. Looks very, very nice indeed! Especially like the Alpina pinstripe graphics cool

Not much on it this months issue im afraid, but IIRC they promise a much bigger column in next months issue which has to be due fairly soon. The new arrival report in last months issue gave some decent details though, so worth tracking down a copy, that is unless you've already seen it of course!

HTH! smile

It was a saloon that I saw, it looks a lot meaner in the flesh - a lot better in white too

Chap near me has a black coupe and it looks stunning.

The front dams look like they could swallow a child whole.

I think they look awesome and make sense in principle, but price one up next to a 6-cylinder BMW with current discounts before taking the plunge would be my advice.

Do it.
I have just bought a B3s and love it.
You won't regret it.
Check out the Alpina Register too. The guys on there will back me up!

Servicing costs are identical to the equivalent 3 Series BMW. I have the original D3 and have recently had a service based on 320d costs at a main dealer. Great car! thumbup
