Top Gear team in Canary Wharf...now!

I was surprised that they start so early, I got out of CW tube at 7.50 and it looked like they had already been there a while!

Didn't pay much attention to them, only noticed Clarkson, May and what could have been a red Seat Ibiza stty Coupe. Anyone know what they're up to?

I meant, are they filming a basic review, or was it a top gear challenge, or something entirely?

What was the other car there, was yellow I think?

Filming often takes place at just after dawn as otherwise the place is full of gawping onlookers and traffic. Most films done in London for instance are filmed in Summer between 5 am and 7 am.

Atcually it might not be top gear. Perhaps it might be Richard hammond's Total wipout filming in the fountain, when coincidentally Oz and Jamse's London wine tour (offie series) went to the local waitrose, and finall Clarksons one-off series on city centre car parks. Coincidentially they all decided to film on the same day...

...Second thoughts, It'll be filming for a Top gear episode.

I walked past at 07:20 and they were there. Well, no sign of JC and the Hamster didn't look amused.

Judging by the Japanese/Korean (couldn't tell) econobox there it doesn't look like a warm hatch test.

The cars look boring. A sign of the prevailing economics? Going to Canary Wharf to laugh at the bankrupt bankers and suggest a trio of frugal, cheap hatches?

I should write scripts for the show you know.

Wow, I've not been so stumped on a car spot in a long while - one of the Red ones looks like a Chevrolet Aveo, but I can't quite make out the grey one. Could be a Daihatsu - but not sure - badge on the back looks like it could be a renault of some sort or maybe a Dacia. I am going by the blog pics only BTW.
