Urgent phone extention help

I had a carpet fitted yesterday but unfortunately they managed to break my telephone extention. I need to run one from the main box via the front.
It will then have a filter plugged in for the phone and ADSL modem.
Are all extentions compatible for both phone and net signal.
Just purchased this, but the staff were not to clued up on what I meant, so guys are all extentions compatible for both phone and net signal. I want to plug this into the main BT socket, run the wire under the stairs with a filter. PLug in my filter and then have my ADSL router pluged in and phone
