Hi Guys

Hopefully everyone is aware that the largest TVR gathering this year is likely to happen this Sunday at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire
There was over 400 TVRs there last year when the drive down and back was torrential rain (although sunny while we were there)
so likely to be even more this year as the event grows and SUNSHINE IS FORECAST

You may have noticed on the forums that the NE guys are too lazy to get up early enough to do the Leeds Tunnel Run now
but we are being joined by our friends from North Yorkshire (The Norkies) and East Yorkshire (name TBC!!! - Umber-ciders?)

We will all meet up at Hartshead Moor Services westbound (that's heading towards Manchester) off the M62
and then do the run over Holme Moss moors and on thru the lovely roads down thru Glossop and Chapel en le Frith etc
It is a lovely scenic route on some great roads and even better with a group of noisy TVRs
We managed to keep 16 of us together last year with monsoon rain on the tops - so easier this time under blue skies!!!

We will meet up around 9.30 -9.45 so that we can set off at 10am sharp to be at Chatsworth House
in plenty of time for the pie truck coming round to us this year (we don't even have to fetch our own from the cafe!!!!!!)
All we need now is a commode and we won't have to leave the TVR area all day!!!!!!

Please try to let me know (by listing here or pm) if you are even thinking of coming with us, so I can print off the correct no of map instructions
as with the weather now looking good there could be rather a good turnout.

Everyone welcome in their TVRs - The more the noisier!!!!!

Cheers
Richard "Trickie Dickie" Lee

This year is supported by the TVRCC and their stall with regalia etc will be there

Thank You all for joining us and making the run down another TVR tale for the future

Sorry I didn't know that Hudderfield was shut on Sundays!!!!
and that there were 4 diversions around the outskirts
but at least we all managed to re convene (although many thought it was a Fag Stop)
and the site of the car park at the top of Holme Moss full of TVRs was great
(and made the day for many of the Mosochist cyclists as they reach the summit!!!)

The site of 35 TVRs coming down the other side into Derbyshire in bright sunshine
was a truly great sight (and totally different from the monsoon of last year)

To then get to Chatsworth to see many of the 686 TVRs(unconfirmed as yet)just made the day

A swift run back up the M1 still in good weather just completed another great TVR adventure

NEXT MAIN EVENT Cars In The Park at Newby Hall near Ripon

Cheers

Great work Richard - the diversion reminded me of convoys with the Fiat Coupe club, the difference was you got it all back together!

Nice to see everyone, really enjoyed the drive there and the day itself.
