Personal transport design concepts...

A while ago there was a news piece on the mercedes throwback pennyfarthing type device. Now I seemed to remember it referred to a design contest for some sort of personal commuter vehicle (sinclair c5 like but not rubbish) but it doesn't mention it. Does anybody know what I'm on about or have I been imagining things? Does anybody know the name of said competition? I've got a design project to do so I'm after sketches to reference in the design spec, so I'm not mental.
