Just bought a set of wheels and one has had a slight collision with a kerb as per the pic below ...

Would a pro be able to sort this okay? I may end up having a go myself but wouldn't bother probably if a pro could do it and at a reasonable cost - any idea on what the cost approx

Judging just how good wheel refurbishment guys are, that looks an easy job. Its worth just getting the whole thing done. As long as it isn't 22inch in diameter, and a single colour you will be looking at about £80 a wheel for something like 17inch.

Thats a polished rim, so you will need to find a specialist, not everyone tackles the polishing aspect to wheel repairs. Best to find someone through recommendation as you could get problems with corrosion or oxidisation in the future if its not done properly.

Was told a long time ago - some alloys have to be worked upon in a container of nitrogen, to prevent oxygen tarnishing the alloy as its being worked upon - got one at home ??

are those ac cobra wheels?

if you want the name of a st hold wheel repairer and alloy/metal polisher then pm me and ill dig the guys name out. would mean posting the wheel though as the guy is in south wales
