Can we kill it?

So our decrepit old 1997 Subaru Liberty (Legacy in all other markets) 2.2 AWD manual sedan won't die.
We are clocking well over 250,000 miles on the thing, and everything except the consumerables (belts, filters, brakes, clutch) is still original. All the electric windows work, even the power aerial still works. The only thing that has needed replacing is the cd player.
So. How much longer can we keep it going until we finally kill the old girl? Not a spot of rust on her either. She's even done a few track days and some off roading in her time and she just bounces back for more.
I never thought I'd get this attached to a japanese car with no character, but I can't help it. It's like an old nag that just keeps on working.

My Legacies have all had character, not sure why you'd think otherwise (unless by character you mean breaking down a lot). They certainly don't die easily though, just ask my old Leone...even drowning up to the windows didn't kill it!Subaru used to make cracking good mechanically super reliable workhorses but i can't speak for the current new crop. However, you still see many old outbacks up to the axles in crap working in farmers fields and carrying bootloads of hay, animal feed, and the odd sheep or two from time to time.
If it's been that good to you and done a quarter of a million miles who's to say it won't do that again. Do yourself and your car a favour and never get rid of it. I would have said you'll probably drive your car until the grave.
