993 Convertible £25000...Possible?

Looking to buy a 993 soon and wondered if it is possible to buy an excellent condition example at this price range. I assume that a mileage of 50-60k would not throw up major problems for this model if it has a main dealer service history.
You can certainly get a LHD one with that spec for that price. See www.rsjsportscars.co.uk as Joel often has them in stock. I think you'd need a grand or two more for RHD.
Oh, and don't assume anything. 50-60k is barely run in for a Porsche in theory, but in practice it depends how it has been driven - and stored. Low mileage can be worse on an older car than high mileage. Go on condition via an independent inspection.
I would also get a post-1995 example as they didn't suffer from wiring loom issues and had a few later model year revisions, inc varioram engine.

May I be cheeky here and ask why a Cabriolet? The 993 Coupe`s are superior drivers cars, they handle better and are also marginally quicker!
You should get a tidy `94 RHD C2 Coupe, with average miles and a reasonable history for £25K!
Won`t be Variocam, but then that suits some of the tuners better...hey 9M?
Just food for thought!
