My Dad Died Yesterday.
Discussion
Right now I'm in a bit of a dreamy state of mind as the reality hasn't quite set in.
He was driving and had a massive heart attack. He managed to pull the car over and the police found him slumped over the wheel. They couldn't do much for him there and the hospital pronounced hom DOA. He was two days into radiotherapy treatment for prostate cancer and the future looked reasonably rosy. My younger brother won't be able to cope and is still living at home where he will be the only person there. He is also jobless.
So it looks like a rocky ride for the near future.
I know there won't be any solutions on here but it makes it a bit easier each time I talk about it.

My heart goes out to you - my Father died of a massive heart attack 16 years ago and while time isn't neccesarily a healer (contrary to what they say), but it helps you move on.
Try to remain positive if you can and always remember what he meant to you and his good side and his good points.
There are no real words that will make it any easier, but as they say - chin up and try to be strong.

It's a miserable time - for everyone. My dad died a couple of years ago, so I have some idea, as do many here.
Many parents will have had a long and lingering end - mine did. It's of zero consolation, but it might be in the future to know that he went quickly. I don't mean that to sound awful - but my dads last few weeks were not good, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Try to be strong for your family....
