£3,848 standard class and £5,772 First Class.

That's just point-to-point. A Travelcard feature will add to the price.

cheers guys thumbup

£3,800 is a lot more than i thought. this would be a commute living in london/working MK, so probably not my best idea to date!

London living costs and MK salary on top of a £4K commute. Ouch.

£4,424 for a standard class with zones 1-6 travelcard attached. (although that was last years price mine is up for renewal in july so more than likely you can add a bit onto this for this years price.)

indeed. doable, but i wouldn't be happy with it!

want to give the 'living in the capital' thing a chance before i head abroad. there are a couple of internal jobs there in head office but have also been asked to consider MK. i think that i have considered it now wink

to be honest, i probably spend that much a month on insurance, fuel and toll fees [£100/mth right there, robbing bds].

bike license might be a better idea.

Absolute bargain!
Just under £7k from Kettering with tube.
Plus another £1.1k for parking.
