Folks,

What sort of Lambda voltages would you expect at idle on a 350Z?

My neighbours car is popping up an error from time to time indicating a lambda error, using my OBDII scanner I can see that one sensor is consistantly reporting a higher voltage than the other by at least 0.2 volts..

TIA

I presume the 2 O2 sensors you are looking at are the before cat and after cat sensors. If the engine management is working ok then the before cat sensor should switch between 0.1 and 1 volt, the after cat sensor should hardly show any switching

they're reported as bank 1 and bank 2, so I suspect they're not pre and post cat.. Not 100% sure on that though..

0.2 volts is not a lot, but could be rectified by looking at the bank which has the lower voltage as their is a fault somewhere, try using a good quality injector cleaner, then try a set of plugs, check coil pack outputs and check compressions.

That should keep you busy for a while

Hi Steve, 2 cats, 2 sensors..

I'm trying to work out whether it's the higher or lower value that is the issue!
