The newly built Steam Engine "Tornado" is at Pickering Railway next Bank Holiday and the following weekend too, along with Sir Nigel Gresley.
Anyone seen the programme, are either pulling coaches along the route or simply stationary exhibits?

[quote=story]The Tornado, which will most likely run from Pickering to Grosmont, could also be hauling some of the NYMR’s other coaches and freight wagons – something which is bound to attract railway fanatics.[/qoute]

Shall point my dad towards this, should enjoy it

Driving down the A64 tonight, I went past a low-loader with a steam engine strapped to the back of it. Was this the Tornado?

No, I'd very much doubt it as the movements are done on rail.
Might take the lad to NYMR to have a nosey next weekend.
