I need some motivation here team!

I've copied in below the grid, nearly at it's maximum of 42 out of 44, for the Brands GP circuit, the GT Cup appears to have become the main support GT race for the A1 GP weekend on the first May bank holiday. We are going well and Andy is finalising the fettling that will hopefully push us up to the top end of Group 3. Should be an interesting noise on the start with 20,000 bhp coming down the straight in formation, going to be b****y important to get a good qualification to get in the mix.

We've done 6 hours of practce at Brands in the past 4 weeks to get me adjusted to the new set up of the TVR and we've ragged the poor Frogeye around as fast as we can to get me up to speed. Poor thing was doing sub 57's which is great for a 53 year old race car in slippery conditions.

All thanks to APM Andy, Dave Jenkins, Ben Wilson, Sam Wilson, Mrs Wilson, Andy Robinson (those fantastic wishbones!), all those who came to help when I was testing,, ACT (for sorting my 107 dB down to sub 105 with no loss of power) and the GT Cup Porsche drivers for following me around and suggesting another 1 degree of camber on the back end!

I have to park the lorry up at 8 ish on Thursday to set up and we start testing at 10 on Friday.

Got lots of tyres!!!

Of course, could be a lot of running around as we are burning up the current set of tyres and bedding in the new ones for qualifying and racing on Saturday. And Sinclair we have photographic evidence that you know what your doing from last time!!
