come home tonight and its been out again, between 9 and 11pm every night for about 30 mins at a very low altitude

i know it could be anything but considering we live in a small village in kent with no real history of issues (touch wood) the worrying side of my nature does take over

does it list activites which arent of a sensitive nature anywhere ?

I'm no where near you - but they probably have our helicopter out every other night.

I quite like it actually - I live on the outskirts of a city, but in a very high house thats got an excellent escape road at the bottom of the garden - some nights I open the curtains and its like something from Blade Runner! (either that or they are perving on the chick downstairs!)

Sorry totally off topic - but they busted a big one in a very nice housing estate near me recently back when we had all that snow...

...the neighbours noticed it was the only house in the street with no snow on the roof hehe

Have the same situation in the village that I live in, police helicopter flies in and circles around, over a particular area, with its searchlights on and does this every few weeks.
I was wondering what the purpose was, as I know that he is circling over an open field, then I discovered that the pilot lives opposite the field.
Obviously just putting on a show for his kids!!

Great use of taxpayer's money. He could at least be filming some hooligans jumping over fences for the next episode of 'Police Camera Predictable'.

Not sure about where you are, but around here the police have to publish a record online of any helicopter activity and the reasons...
