Does anyone have a good remedy for flatulence? I run a few miles every day and as my pace improves it becomes more annoying to have to stop every couple miles to de-gas.

Can't you do it as you run? Is it the running which causes it or are you normally full of wind?

I think it's due to exercise. I don't fart while running because I don't want to follow through.

If you can't run and chuff without following through I think you need to address the tone of your anal sphincter!!!!

are you taking a lot of fibre in your diet? any medications? if you want i can ask one of my lecturers at uni....one in particular, dr heusch, seems to know more than the rest of the world.....

i would say it's dietary, but you may have something up with bowel movement...

I eat a modest amout of fiber, about 10g/day probably. I'm not on any medications, and don't drink alcohol.
