Hi there im hoping someone can help me. I have a 98 cebera and its had the double head lamp conversion, as we all know the lights arnt very good. And i would like to get a hid kit for the car ie the ones that are really bright and strong i think they have a blueish look to them. Does anyone know if this can be done and if so where could i buy them from, thank you for any help.

Before we begin, technically HID lights are illegal as a retro fit.

However a good number of us run these lights and haven't been pulled and they pass the MOT, they just need to be correctly adjusted.

Don't buy lights from anywhere except ebay as they're overpriced, the kits that are sold in this country for £100 to £200 are exactly the same as the ones on ebay that can be bought for as little as £25 + postage.

Search for HID in the Griffith section and you'll find a few article. Many of us bought the lights from this ebay shop here

Technically, retro fitting lamp units that were designed to be HID units is fine. As long as you also have a self-leveling and washing system installed.... HID conversion kits are considered illegal.

I have the 'Virtual daylight' HID kit on my fabia vRS and they are absoutely incredible. I got them fitted at 'Awesome GTI' in manchester.

They cost me £120 fitted and they are an 8000k kit.
My old man has a new AMG merc with factory xenons and they blow his out of the water, the look on his face when he saw them was priceless.
