Leave them be? Take them to a field and turn them loose.

If nature takes it toll, so be it.

After setting "Humane" traps in my garage, caught 9 mice and released them 5 miles away in a field next to my work.

The little buggers were scoffing my bird food, (Those fat balls you can buy).

Glad it's not just me. I was going to post the same thing, but didn't for fear of being banned.

Upto you, take to a local vets who may pass them on to rescue centre (or put them down) or look after them for a few days offer seed, dried fruit, wait until the eyes have opened then release asap. If they have fur the eyes must be ready to open any day now. Handle as little as poss. Just make sure they have some bedding to hide in and an escape proof container.

Sweet, they look like my gerbils when they were pups. Are you keeping them or taking them to a vet? Don't take them to a pet shop that sells snakes, they'll be food for them as soon as you've walked out of the door.

Even though it is illegal to feed live veterbrae to other animals in this country.
I ended up with a pet mouse due to a friend rescuing it from someone who said they were going to feed it to a snake!

Wait for their eyes to open and then free them.

Far from your house would be ideal, in case they come back for more food and nibble through all your cables. As for food? hmmmm, maybe a pet shop could help you out there.

Offer them water in a small dish, some hamster or gerbil food from pets @ home will be fine for them. Keep them warm, shred up some newspaper that they can use as bedding. They should be happy enough until they're old enough to be deposited in a field.

And eaten by the nearest hawk.
