Pros and Cons of a 360
Discussion
Thanks for all your comments. i agree the CS looks a great bit of kit but the budget is well short of cs prices.
Looked at 355 but for a bit extra the 360 looks a more modern style which i prefer.
I will take a look at topgear.
anyone have any 360 running cost experience, seems the clutch has been replaced on many low mileage cars ?

I have just bought a 2000 Modena off a friend for £35k. It has been a great car and i'm told never had a problem. serviced by good people at the right time and kept garaged all the time. It needs stone chips doing, but he told me to expect on average £1500 per year for service from a good independent.
Insurance wasn't too bad as i have a fleet policy with work and personal cars. Its done just under 30,000 miles.
I think for £35k i have a whole lot of car and my first Ferrari - very excited. Will only be using it for sunny days and weekend blasts though. My other half thinks i should drive it back to Portugal to show my mum - be a bit nervous doing it in the Ferrari. Did it in my DB7 GT though.
I think its very good value for money.

Hi Thanks for the info. Sounds like you have a great deal there. Did you get the F1 or manual box ?
Yours sounds like the lowest price 2000 car by far.
As for driving to Portugul sound like a great few days to get to know your new car.

I bought from a friend who wanted to sell for cash quickly. He is moving away from the UK (maybe sensible) and just wanted a quick cash deal. He offered it for £45k but no takers and so he finally said he'd sell it to me for £35k and i bought it. I didn't actually want it at first and agreed as he needed the cash. I'm not a Ferrari, Lambo kind of person. Bit too flashy for me, but now i have it, i have to say it is a lot of fun and quite exciting. It is F1, which going up is actually really bad. Down is not a problem. I'm told i can upgrade the F1 software so i will look into that.Yours sounds like the lowest price 2000 car by far.

So instead of upgrading the DB9 to a DBS, i added a 360. My g/f loves it and wants to drive it. I think maybe .......
