Petrolhead Nirvana - Millau Tour
Discussion
Guys (and girls)
Just back from this (exhausted) and cannot recommend it enough. Absolutely ball-tearing trip with some great people. The roads were sensational (with a few particular highlights), organisation was spot on and hotels / locations breathtaking. I expected Formule1 but instead it was 11th century monastaries, boutique hotels and proper chateaux all the way!
Photos and video to come (once I figure it out).
If you fancy a road trip this year, book one of these. Its just awesome. Truly.
Drew
PS - work is soooooo boring in comparison now...

Oh yes, how dull is the daily grind now?!
Guys I have to concur with Drew. This was an epic road trip over a long weekend, the kind that leaves you exhausted but happy. Spectacular roads, cool cars, amazing scenery and fantastic people to boot. I've made some new friends along the way and enjoyed every minute of the driving. The roads in Europe are incredible. Needless to say I'm already enquiring about the next tour. I guess I'd better start saving ...

Edit - a couple of photos
A bridge...

An hotel...

Me spoiling the view...

The actual hotel...

And outbuildings...

Miraculously arriving first at the next hotel...

Topiary...

The views...

Mountains and more views

Bridges...

Another Chateau...

Some of us were flagging a little by this stage...

The line up...

Reims on the way home...

Roll on the next tour

Here's a taster. Video compression is poor, but the sound is OK

Like the vid... (or the noise) I did a Europe tour last July, that was one of the stops I couldn't do up Mont Ventoux - there's always next time...
