Bybrook Restaurant (Manor House Hotel) in Castle Combe
Discussion
Yep, the setting is excellent with very inviting grounds and river running through them (reminded me of Gidleigh Park).
We thought the restaurant was very good. In the end we went for the tasting menu (had intended to go for the a la carte) and we were very impressed throughout with the taste and presentation of the food plus the portion sizes were larger than usual for a tasting menu too

The evening ended with what is probably the _best_ chocolate fondant I've had.
Thoroughly recommended!
