Why mess with something thats fine and works, the new design is awful and takes forever to find anything.

Does anyone actually like the new look?

Nope - is it bad then? You can frig ITV HD with it - apparently.

It's fking st.

Only the sky+ / HD one has changed. I've got a non-HD sky+ box in the kictehn and it's got the old (good) guide

Incorrect, the new planner is rolled out via the satellite, so telephone plugged in/out is irrelevant.

It's like all things, at first it seems a pain, but ultimately it is much better.

Only for Sky HD boxes though, not the standard Sky+

If that's the case why don't they update the fking phone number that they tell you to call when you have a fault! The number changed 9 months ago and the old one still somes up on screen.

Sorry. I have a fault with my SKY plus (engineer coming tomorrow). The error message on screen tells you to call a number. When you call it you get a message telling you that number has now been changed and you should call another number which they read out very fast so you have to call back again to get the number. By the time you get through to the correct number you have made 3 phone calls at your own expense and listened to an interminable message and pressed about 20 buttons in order to tell them that their POS kit is broken! rage And then the bloke you speak to tells you that the number changed 9 months ago and they are continuously telling the "bosses" to get the on screen message changed but they don't. ragerage And then the bloke tells you you need a new card so they order you one and instantly disable the old one which means for 3 days you have no SKY. rageragerage And then the new card comes and the problem remains and you call again and the bloke says that the other bloke was wrong and you didn't need a new card after all, you need a whole system re-boot which he can do right now. ragerageragerage So you do that and it still doesn't work and so now a week or so later the engineer is going to call and meanwhile Reading played live last night and I missed it and the SKY + box nearly went straight in the bin and .............

There's an 8 minute review on Sky Anytime, there's a double page spread in the latest edition of the free Sky magazine and you'll get a letter through the post before you are updated - mine arrived 3 or 4 days prior to the update, so there's plenty of info to see what it's about.

I actually like it, improvements like, one select press gives you a preview in the corner, a second press takes you full screen and the condensed lists on planner.

Only gripe is that it can be a little slow sometimes.

You can get ITV HD as well. I followed this guide and it worked a treat. Although you have to go to 'other channels' to access it.

My Sky HD box reports that "Telephone Line is not Connected", when it IS. Anyone had that?

So why do you have to ADD ITV HD if you already have a HD Box?
