Babysitters cost? Just wondering as I was thinking of advertising my services as a babysitter but don't want to price myself out of the market. Same for dog walking, how much do dog walkers cost?
Cheers

Cash in hand in the evenings?

Never used one ourselves, but Depends a lot on where you are I would imagine.

Might be surprised how much some couples would be willing to pay for someone they feel is responsible / trustworthy

five or six hours sitting watching someone else's telly sounds easy enough lol

A friend of ours does it and charges £8 per hour - light gardening service too.

Which came as a bit of a surprise.

We have 3 kids under 12 - pay babysitter £30 per night - if we're back late say after 1 then I might lob another tenner in because I'm such a nice guy. Babysitters are various late teenage daughters of neighbours.

£8 per hour is about right.

If you have any childcare qualifications, consider getting jobs through Sitters, who we use and are very professional.

Our local cat sitter charges £5/day to come in and feed the cat when we're are away for a few days.

Not bad for 2 minutes work and no costs.

Not entirely sure that helps you though hehe

For an extra Tenner I promise not to rumage through your drawers.
No Need to mark your bottles of spirits... I'm a driver not a drinker.

My goodness when I was 16 I used to get around a couple of pounds an hour, I would feel pretty chuffed if I came away with a tenner and the person who drove me home wasn't too drunk!

For an extra score, I'll stay for a threesome when you get home.

Tell them that you're a professional lady or whatever and not a spotty faced teenager who's going to have all her mates around. Also say in your ad that you're experienced.
