Heading down to Le Mans with TL this year in their Tetra Rouge site, any others doing the same?
How's the preparations going?

Looking to start stickering up the car soon, thats the next job.

I'm heading over on the Wednesday night, staying in Calais somewhere then drive down Thursday morning.

Can't wait... getting closer! smile

Me too.
I am a Prawn of two years. They did a brill job last year and I can't wait to meet everyone again. It's a fantastic atmosphere and no chavs or Savo's.

Friday night in the Chocolate starfish (that's the bar at TL) is a real hoot, decent music, beer on tap and excellent company.
I am down this year on the Wednesday from Cherbourg and staying until Monday morning.
Get a TL Hardcore prawn sticker for your car and be seen.

We'll be TL virgins this year! From our sunday night reke of last year, did I imagine some sort of bbq set up? Definately remember the bar but not a lot else! Wasn't that done on a band/ token thing?

You're the two most unlikely virgins I've ever met!
Looking forward to joining you and the rest of the crew there on Thurs lunchtime.
Seriously thinking about changing Cobra for 996 Carrera 4 b4 then, so might leave jag at home and get there a bit earlier!
I've already checked and there's still room for the pig and a tent in the new steed so don't worry, Lincs Pig Worriers will live up to their reputation!

I googled the site, great location, literally at the track, there is a mound by the site entrance, so not like Beausejour, cool box of beers on the mound when Im not in the grandstand (....need that cos it was 40 degs 2 years ago and rained like the piss another year). or chilling in the Chocolate starfish....cant wait, Veyrons all ready to go, no room in the Enzo for my hookers........

If you're a virgin, my mum gave birth to me with clogs on (me not her!)
Sorry to say, Carrera 4 plan now changed, looks like I bought an XKR this afternoon! At least we'll have more room to carry the pig in!

Its about 133 miles to Le Mans, any idea how long itll take to get to the circuit on the Friday morning, what are the roads near to Le Mans likely to be like?
Queues?

TIA Nick

Yes, this will be 7th or 8th year with TL. Absolutely can't wait.
The site (new last year) worked brilliantly with a decent number of toilets and plenty of showers that even had hot water!
The cold beers in the Chocolate Startish are most welcome on your arrival- or should that be from the moment you arrive until you leave.
I am on the overnight Portsmouth-LeHarve on Tuesday night,
46 sleeps to go

Hi Guys,

Another two TL first timers (would never have the guts to call myself a virgin on a public forum!)

First time at LM as well, so should be great. Are getting there on Wednesday so should be a fantastic, if slightly blurry, few days!

Anyone know where the name of Langoustine came from? Just curious.
