hoping for a little help. last 2 years we've used MRI for hospitality - just their basic package that gave us entrance to their marquee/bar etc. found out yesterday that they aren't doing that this year. looking for someone with a similar set up and can't remember the names of the marquees that were there last year. a google search brings up the uber expensive corporate type hospitality - and we arent in that leage. so does anyone know a/ any orgainizer that has a similar set up to MRI b/ recalls the names of the other hospitality companies that were by MRI at Maison Blanche. many thx Mark

Found out the same a couple of days ago .... we'll just go without but we'll miss:- Alan McNish doing a bit of a chat on Saturday morning
- Proper Kronie 1664 rather than the weak piss sold around the rest of the circuit
- Somewhere dry with a TV feed when it hoses down
- Proper bogs with proper bog paper
We're in a Motorhome with Sat TV so we'll cope and I know MRI cost more than doing it yourself but the hospitality made it worthwile. Seems like there are just not enough people booking to make it worth their while ... the toilet set-up costs thyem £12k apparently.
we used MRI for a number of years but got fed up with their attitude (the contempt with which they treated their customers who weren't "VIP") and also the food was never up to scratch. There are a number of alternative operators but we switched to Speed Chills a few years ago and have been very happy with them. It is a different setup to MRI but much more relaxed and dare i say "chilled" out.. and far better food.
MBH - unless i've missed something S/Chills just have their own set up on the campsite - ie/ a fair walk from the action? personally i didnt encounter any issues with MRI non vip versus vip: we used it for a place to meet and grab a quiet beer and the ability to walk 30 paces from the bar to the viewing area was beauty and really the main reason why we went with them.
I can vouch for the chef at SpeedChills. SpeedChills chefs are top notch professionals and a bloody nice guys to boot. All staff are volunteers and there because we love Le Mans and the racing.
I'll be at the new site on Blue Sud, so not too sure if thats not close enough but its closer than Beasejour. And you'll be able to use the facility at BSJ if you want to!

I think the OP was looking for something right next to the track albeit inside the circuit so he can get out the sun have a cold one and watch a widescreen in peace whilst still being within easy reach of the real action?.
To clarify Speedchills do a package deal with tickets, ferry and camping at Blue Sud or BSJ were the meals and beer are, there is no hospitality inside the circuit offered by Speedchills although I still reckon its probably the best deal going so far. Yes im with them again this year!! lovely lot of chaps, great meals...yes they are not school dinner type of food and cold beer on tap long with a nice marquee with a big screen.
