Looking for a shooter (PS3) , which one ?

Hi there, i am new to the shooting games and wondered what shooter is the best (offline and online)
Killzone 2? Call of Duty: world at war? Call of duty: Modern warfare? Far cry:2? Resistance 2? Battlefield: Bad company?
Which one? lol

COD4 hands down. Online is the most fun you'll have with your pants on (and when not driving either)

I haven't tried Killzone 2 yet to be fair, but I've heard very mixed reports, from brilliant, to utter drivel. I need to rent it before I buy it I think.

I'm still playing COD4 regularly though and have been since September.

i prefer COD 5... but then thats due to me playing COD4 to death!

Killzone 2 and COD4 are both brilliant in slightly different ways. You can run and gun in both but I think that Killzone 2 is slightly more tactical due to the size of the bigger maps as they are huge.

I do however come back to COD4 though. Tried Socom but never really got used to the bloody yanks coming into EU servers and kicking all others off so they could let their clan mates join. This happens daily to me even when I am leading the side in kills etc and it is infuriating.

Killzone 2 is very good, but COD4 still holds the crown. Simply incredible

COD4, it's a modern day Counterstrike with a cracking single player too.
