I'm going to break my golden rule and end up using the Griff on a track day.

It's putting out about 290BHP, so power is Ok but handling leaves a lot to be desired.

My shocks are getting a bit tired, so was thinking about upgrading to Gaz Gold Pro's. Anybody done this and what difference did it make? Should I also lower the car a little? What lb springs should I use?

Any other really good handling mods??

I want to be able to use the car on the road, so don't want to go too extreme...
Thanks
Mike

Wilwood brake conversion,Nitron shocks with the Eibach springs (350/400lbs if you want it a little more compliant on the road), Steve Heath drop links and the most important thing of all...

Toyo R888 tyres! I had all of the above bar the tyres until last week and I have to say, the tyres make a HUGE difference over standard (I use Goodyear Eagle F1s on the road). Buckets more grip, far more confidence in the car on the track now smile

Remember that if you lower the ride height by adjusting the spring seats it will alter the geometry so you will need to reset that. Not done a track day myself but would think check the oil level is up to the full mark so as to reduce the risk of surge and stick in some nice fresh Dot 5.1 fluid so you don’t run out of brakes if things get a bit warm, obviously a set or R888s goes without saying. If you do have the R888s (or the like) then it may be worth thinking about stiffer springs because you will be leaning on them a lot harder.
