I am thinking about taking the leap from an Aston Martin Vantage V8 to a 612 Scaglietti.

Anyone on here have a 612 and care to share their experiences? What's the servicing and running costs like? Any must have optional extras? Gas mileage will be awful I am sure but what else can you expect from a 5.7l V12! What's your normal mileage?

This is going to be driven as a GT, no track days, just looking for a civilised GT with long legs and decent luggage space.

how about a new 4.7 litre maser 4p ... practical, good looking, awesomely quick, and much cheaper?

Probably worth reading the Chris Harris column on drivers republic as he has just bought one

will have a look for Chris Harris.

never fancied a Maserati. The weird and wacky 70's coupe with names after desert winds were pretty funky but the modern stuff - MC12 excepted - does nothing for me....
