T350 Tyre pressure

I have tried 28psi and it did feel mmore nervous. For me with my suspension set pretty stiff 24 feels much more secure. Have a little experiment but a difference of 1 or 2psi really does make a difference. So does a decent pressure guage as the ones in filling stations can be less than precise. And obviously alwayscheck 'em in similar conditions not halfway through a long motorway slog or after a good backroad strop.(not trying to be patronising but not everyone does this).
interestingly, i checked the psi in sainsbury's and set it 24 all round, about 3 weeks later checked it in a texaco and two out of the four were now at 25... seems mine magically tops itself up?!
presumably there are variations with the machines, but now comes the question, which machine/garage to trust?

Simple tbh. Most gauges on forecourts cannot be trusted. presumably there are variations with the machines, but now comes the question, which machine/garage to trust?
Treat yourself to a decent 0-30psi dial gauge with a pressure-release button as used by go-kart racers or trials riders. Should only cost you 20 or 30 quid and is accurate to around .25psi.
It's the only way to be sure...
Just in case there's anyone else out there as inexperienced as me

I recently checked mine when back from a run out (to buy a tyre pressure gauge!) and found them all to be around 29, so promptly took them down to 24. I then later read the small print on the gauge about checking them when cold, re-checked them when cold and they were all around 21/22!
