What was it?
Before the oxo-conveyer-curtains era.
Does anyone actually remember that far back?

Lurked for about six years before I bothered to signing up for an account, would have to say something like Jon Dokic perhaps? Although I am well aware that isn't much of an egg-yolk around these parts.

I remember when nuking from orbit was an amusing reference to the film Aliens. In fact, I may have been one of the early users of the phrase although I don't claim I started it.

I also remember a group collaboration to come up with a logo for PistonHeads. Naturally those of us who contributed all get royalties on what is now a Registered Trademark. No... wait. That's right, we don't.

I think nuking from orbit may actually have been the first. I don't remember any before that.

No, but all you guys got in early on the paid-to-post thing so it all balances out, surely?

Nuking from orbit harks back to The Kenny Everett Television Show, but I've no idea how it sits in the history timescale of PH injokes.

Kenny Everett was round them up in a field and bomb the b*****ds. Nuking from Orbit was from Aliens.

The Winged Horse of Chav Tat was quite some time ago now I think... but I get confused easily and time seems to pass more quickly these days...

And then there was the "Arm Belt" fiasco.

I read on and off, don't remember the arm belt fiasco.
The winged horse I remember.

I suspect the first real injoke related to trailing arms, bushes or leven bits. Circa some 200 years back.

Gold. Pure comedy gold.
