New Pie and Piston -= not very good actually

Despite all the good intentions and rationale behind the new format, its clearly s change for the worse.

What are the benefits? Not seen a credible answer to that question, although to be fair, I can't be bothered looking under the macro definitive subject titles to find out.

as I am sure it has been said, you used to be able to log in to the pie and piston, click on a link, spy another intrigueing title and and get sucked into that discussion.

I havn't been on the new format P&P on principle. It's neutered now.

It's like PH has been taken over by local government who have to continually make 'improvements' to justify their existence. No improvements + no point being a mod/webmaster or whatever..

You have a point, to an extent, but I'd say the solution would be to only allow image posting rights after a few months or so, depending on behaviour, rather than the recent balkanisation.

That will ultimately decide wether the new format stays or is reverted.
