Pulled into Bury st. Ed's car park. Big Black VXR. Parked metres away from you and left a note on your windscreen. Left before you had returned. Lovely Motor. Plate was ***JPJ. Shame I Missed you.

It was indeed me!

We visit Bury on a fairly regular basis as we both love the town (but live in Northants)

Had a cracking day out, a drive out in the sunshine; saw off a 911 Carrerra, all strictly on a private track of course, he came up behind, but I'd seen him closing and got it in 'Streetfighter' mode, 3500 in 5th, and full chat acceleration from there. He tried keeping up, but just fell behind! Yeeha! I let him past, and as he went to pull off at the next junction, slowed down, dropped the window and gave me the big 'Thumbs up!'

Went to La Maison Bleue for lunch - it has to be one of the best restaurants in the country, followed by a walk around the town centre. Came back to the car, and found your note (but thats another story)

Next time, I'll try to make sure the car is clean, but I'd been away all week with work, and hadn't had time to clean it. Sorry I missed you, but I'm sure we'll be back.

Used to stop at the cattle market there in a truck for the night. Is it & the nutshell pub still there?

aww mate, really glad you had a good time, took the missus to that restaurant on her birthday. Quiet friendly atmosphere. Small world innit. Your car looked gorgeous, cleaner than mine. Lots and lots of fly strikes. Sorry my note was spidery, it made me old heart flutter to see such a lovely car. Wish I had taken a photo of them together. hope to see you again soon. Up the aussie muscle!!

P.S Dr Prod, nutshell Still there. 4 people and it's packed! Mega! J.J, love to see under your bonnet. Know not a lot about feersum enjins so would love to get some advice. p.p.s. Really really Chuffed.

I don't have any photos, but I'll get my computer adviser (my son...) to get some and post them if you wish. Theres not much to look at as the thing that I like about the supercharger is the fact that it looks 'factory fit'. We should be coming down to Bury again in the next few weeks, and often have Sunday lunch at the Dog & Partridge, so if you and your good lady fancy a meal/beer, (or if you can suggest anywhere else), I'll E-mail you nearer to the time.
