help on putting fuel hoses back on, lost myself
Discussion
right i have put the inlet manifolds back on today and connected the fuel hoses i had labbelled up to the right places but i have one hose i dont know where it goes and one other nipple i dont know what connects to it.
1st one is the hose that comes off the back of the 4 way fuel splitter. i have written on the end of the hose (inlet manifold f.g) i haven't the foggiest what it means and im not sure where the end attaches its a length hose about 2 foot long.
2nd one is the fuel pressure regulator (i think thats what its called) the back nipple has no hose on it and i don't know what connects to it)the nipple points toward the bulkhead.
can someone check for me or advise what goes where?
hopefully start her up tomorrow and start a whole new ball game of problems

I don't own a Cerbera so this could be rubbish, but I thought the fuel pressure regulator on them was referenced to atmosphere rather than to the inlet manifold. In that case the vacuum port would be left disconnected.
No idea what the other hose is you mention, but can you see what else is within reach of it?

ive had a look and just cant see it. the air box has a thin breather pipe(passenger side air box close to bulkhead)
the pipe i have is a fuel hose about 2 foot long it comes of the 4 way fuel purge adapter, it runs through the V and the end is waiting to be attached.
can someone please have a look at their 4.2 engine at the back of the V there is a 4 way fuel adaptor. the left and right go into the fuel rail, the back lead off to the bulk head the the front of the 4 way is where i need to find.

The hose off the back of the passenger airbox is to the pressure sensor
The front hose off the 4 way goes to a small diameter pipe on the oil catch can fitted under the driver side air box. It connects above the hose from the cam chest as per pic below of catch can.
If you don't have an inlet on the catch can then just plug the outlet on the 4 way (or fit a 3 way). The engine will run fine without it.
Anyone know why the hose to the catch can was fitted? The purging from the carbon can is via the two pipes off the 4 way to the inlet manifolds.

pressure regulator is left to atmosphere, the other pipe from the 4 way labelled airbox goes to the OS airbox adjacent to the crankcase breather hose.
