noise restrictions at castle combe
Discussion
basically im thinking of booking a trackday at castle combe, but am worried about the noise restrictions.
my car is a astra 2L turbo, which has a miltek exhaust.
on the website it says cars are tested at 1/2M from exhaust at 4500, and 100db, im not too worried about this bit as its not that loud under 5000 rpm.
but it doesn't say about any drive by tests, as im sure that after about 6000 rpm, i would be over the 100db.
so has anyone recently been to castle combe, and how had the tests been done?

whilst they might only do static tests, they do have an ear on the track so to speak and anything that they think might have somehow got past the static test is usually called in.
i have run a 205 gti there with a de-cat janspeed system and it was less than 90db which was both good and embarrassing in equal measures...
