Hi. We are staying on Karting Nord but haven't yet received the camping pass. Just wondering whether anyone has one of these yet and if so, is it on an allocated plot basis? We have always been next to the track but there have been the usual rumours that this will not be allowed this year?

Anyone know anything more about this?

Cheers

It was plotted out last year. I would imagine it will be the same again this year.

It does look like it won't be "pick your own spot as you arrive" then. We have always just turned up on the Monday and gone where we wanted, including last year.

I don't know if our passes have been issued yet as these go to a mate who we meet up with on arrival. I guess it will add to the excitement!

Allocated/numbered plots according to 1st-Tickets who we have booked with.
That's what I was told too. Advised that we'd receive tickets from 1st-Tickets within a month of the race, so not expecting them for a few weeks yet.

If you arrived Monday last year, there might not have been anybody controlling pitches as it's quite early on in the week, therefore not exprecting many arrivals.

We have stayed at Karting nord for the past 2 years, and i have to say that last year was better than 2007. the pitches were allocated and everyone had enough room.

still have not got our tickets though for this year, but i dont think travel desinations have sent them out yet??

cant wait to get there, just got to sort out the stickers for the £500 car and we are all done.... good times thumbup

My tent didn't float away last year, so it had to be better than 2007!

That looks good, right near the bogs !!!
We didn't find it too bad. It was handy for getting water, and emptying the washing up bowl!!

Should be towards the middle of that field this year.
