Sendai car hi-fi...

Sendai
the previous owner of my 156 put one in , it was truely dreadful as the radio distorted on anything but the best possible signal. The CD replay was OK but you can get much better by buying catalogue returns or even second hand on e-bay. I picked up a JVS BT11 with Bluetooth for £54 on e-bay, a great improvement. Anyone want an as new Sendai ? Still under warranty

I'm sort of
about why folks would buy no-name car radio/cds anymore - ten years ago a decent one would have cost you the price of 5-6 tanks of fuel and it was easy to see why people who aren't especially bothered about quality went for something significantly cheaper; today you can pick up base model Pioneer units for 59 or 66 euro or a similar stupidly low price, so what's the point? It's not like the bargain basement brands offer more features at that sort of price, either.
