OMG My role model has let me down!

I opened the paper today expecting the usual light hearted column but I've had the biggest shock of my life!

Jeremy Clarkson has given up drinking!

What is the world coming to! ? I almost spilt my breakfast time vodka

A good friend/drinking buddy of mine had this happen to him aged 18 (we used to drink a fair amount). Watching him laid up in hospital for two weeks changed my attitude towards drinking heavily.

I haven't drank since New years eve, i don't understand why people think you can't have fun without drinking. He perhaps doesn't want to wake up some mornings with a hangover. I feel much healtier and fitter without drinking. My saturdays and sundays have been extended by around 3 hours per day. And come on he doesn't need alcohol to throw insults at the goverment.

Fark. At 18 that is a bit young. Thought it'd take longer than that. One of my friends started pissing blood at 28.
