Today is National Drive it day, when all classic owners are asked to get their pride and joy out and drive it. Driving through Blair Athol this afternoon I saw a lovely frog eye sprite, a convertable capri, an e type Jaguar, to name but a few. Hats of to the lady (I wont guess her age, but she was in her prime..and may have had a bus pass!) in the open 1930's sports car (Lea Francis?) in the rain, she was smiling bless her, huge respect!!

Oh, I also saw an amazing "anthill mob" type car, all black, on the M8 today. Soooo cool!

Must have been the same one I saw in Blair Athol. We were away this weekend(2 Labradors and the Good Lady plus baggage dont fit in the vette) so all I could do was take the vette to Tesco, but at least I drove it on Drive it daybiggrin

Spotted a lovely 1934 Bentley at Mulsanne Motors in Dalkeith while I was getting the TVR's MOT done.

A bit like this:

Slightly shocked to see the fuel (benzine?) slung out the back of the bodywork. Now that wouldn't do very well in the NCAP rear impact test yikes
