What do you believe will be the lucrative careers in 10 years time?

With the politicians looking to create a more self sustained and 'green' future perhaps science and engineering professionals will replace traders and lawyers at the top of the income scale? I bet they get a lot more job satisfaction than capitalism's pin striped slaves.

If you could be 20 again, what would you choose to Study? How do you see the employment world adjusting itself in the wake of this over leveraged, finance driven bust?

Personally I would focus my efforts on a mechanical engineering qualification with a power generation bias. Some of the amounts of money that well qualified contractors can command is eye watering.
