I don't suppose there are any fellow PHers out there who are also fans of the Nutty Boys?

Bought my ticket for Madstock '09 (Friday 17th July) today and it looks like it's going to be a good one: Three stages featuring (amongst others) The Pogues, Bjorn Again and Hayseed Dixie (and of course Madness themselves).

The promise all the old favourites, plus new songs from their latest album "The Liberty Of Norton Folgate".

I'll be there complete with fez and oxblood DMs. Apparently, the first Madstock, at Finsbury Park, caused a mini-earthquake that rocked nearby tower blocks when the audience started jumping up and down.

Don't watch that, watch this

I went to the early ones, Toots and the Maytels played too.
I've always thought Madstock should be a proper Two Tone festival.
Bad Manners, Specials, Pauline Black, even old ska stuff like Jazz Jamaica on the bill.

Madness is always fun, hopefully the sun will shine.
