Hopefully none of us got caught by the camera van on the A615. Parked in a layby between Matlock and Alfreton was a white Transit with the camera all set up in the back window. Disguise complete with fat bloke wandering around having a ciggy. I'm sure he just happened to be in the area and wasn't staking out cars returning to the M1 rolleyes

Luckily for me I got the nod from a couple of sharp eyed locals coming the other way. Thanks to them, they did well to spot him coming from the other direction.

Hope you all had a good trip home, and thanks to Kev and his merry band of helpers for a wonderful day in a great location.

We went through it too, just as the road cleared in front of us but luckily Longers spotted it (and the police car just down t'road) in time smile

Especially as it was just after a couple of dawdlers had turned off and I was about to stamp on the loud pedal!!

They probably thought that all their Christmases would come at once - can you imagine the conversations at the scumera base at the start of the shift at the prospect of so many tickets?

No, they have quite a few flights over there and a lot of plesure ones too, it would be great if they took photo's and passed them on to us.
