Well done David in his Ruf 911...206 MPH... Fantastic.
Thanks to Craig and the team for making the day work so smoothly.
Excellent weather although not ideal conditions makes Dave's 206mph
even more impressive.
As always it is a pleasure meeting so like minded car nuts totally
ignoring the 'Credit Crunch' and spending loads on their cars just to
gain that extra 1 or 2mph.
I call this the 'VMax syndrome'.
Roll on the next one.
Mark.

Thanks chaps!
But the Ruf is still only a 3.6! Andy has worked wonders but it is still sporting the same bits as when Ruf did the conversion (other than the exhaust!)
But now you've got me thinking!

It was quite hot. Not enough to pull speeds down but not cold enough to assist us (esp turbo cars) to big numbers. Give me something nearer to zero degrees centigrade and I am sure 210 is on the cards. It

So who else had 200 or more on the day?
Out of interst for my excuse list, what were the not ideal conditions on the day?

Thanks. Thought it might have been that.
Does anyone know the windspeed and direction on the day? Seemed pretty still to me. I imagine a colder day with a slight headwind would leave you at more of a compromise so I was over the moon with the weather as an occassional attendee.
As Lucas has now posted his speed, I don't need to be coy - well done hitting the 200mph.

That Audi was deeply impressive - methanol injection I imagine which brings induction temps right down (?)
