Fair Ground - strippers
Discussion
And the wall of death guy, always found that entertaining! That GoKart type ride was dangerous though, i nearly got thrown out of one after being hit up the back so hard! Does anyone remember the shooting gallery, with actual shot guns! Not sure they had lead in the cartridge but you would have caused some serious damage had you slipped and shot someone!
The strippers were true swamp donkeys, funny though when you've had a skin full
Edit: Just noticed the other thread on the fairground, oops

Oh yes! on many, many occasions i was there funny thing was i thought the birds looked lovely after 10 pints.I do confess getting rather desperate during one show and having to turn round facing the back and weeing against the tent.Nobody saw me as they where gorping.
I always recall at some point the song would start get your t*** out for the boyz you quickly realised that everyone was english in there. One guy at the front wearing glasses was quickly relieved of them by a stripper who proceeded to hide them !!!!!. She then casually give them back to him placing them on his face rather smearey i presume.
While we are on this subject of funfair good old days. Was i the only guy banned very quickly from the pushbike bmx with reverse steering Sidehow. Not sure if anyone recalls it.Little did they know i had one at home i built and learnt to ride.I think i ended up with 100 franc prize.

Don't know about you lot but the area the fair used to reside in and the curving track section was just majical .. you never knew what you would find there but the track has now been sanitised and made boring and all the interesting attractions like the strippers, shot guns, nutty go carts etc are all gone..
to be replaced by whisper quiet Audi's and Peugeots.
Oh - did anyone else nearly gag when they read the post above about the smeared glasses
talk about beer googles

On the subject of smears...
I was in the front row and had my baseball cap removed by one of these 'ladies'. She proceeded to rub it around her 'lady garden' before giving it back to me. Having consumed many many beers we all found this hilarious at the time. I however didn't find it as funny as my mates when I looked inside the hat the next morning

Indeed, a couple of years there was – New York Nights and Crazy Pigal's IIRC – obviously I only remember the outside of these establishments...
Well, I'm happy to admit that I only remember the inside of both of them (so to speak). One was terminally rank and merely served to put you off the act whilst the other was the best €3 I've ever spent at Le Mans!
How about the naked, emaciated women in a glass cabinet of snakes and other reptiles?
Oh, and the gigantic woman whose "breifs" were paraded outside, to get you in.
My younger brother, 15 at the time, who went with us for his first time at LM, queued in front of us to see the large lady. As he paid to get in, he looked around to see us out of the queue, laughing at him going in on his own!
