Where to buy Paris Dakar-esque 4x4/Truck Shocks?

As per the title really. Who makes the uprated shock and spring units on serious offroad machines like those you would find on the Paris Dakar rally?

Only people that spring to mind (pardon the pun) are Leda.

I need a spring and damper unit capable of taking ~10,000lbs whilst being about a maximum of 18in long uncompressed.

Loads of people, RDC, Fox Shox, KING, BOS, Ohlins, Bilstein to name just a few.

Try Milners Off Road for the price lists on Foxes, KING/BOS/RDC you'll have to import yourself, bilstein you'll have to special order over here or import off the shelf from the US, Ohlins are special order only.
Even Gaz do some long travel dampers in their top-spec competition versions.

I don't know anyone with a serious off-road machine running LEDA...
