A good day out

Did anyone else do the 'Huntingdon to Hunstanton' Mini Run yesterday?
There was a convoy of 120 Minis which really was most impressive and there were lots of villagers en-route out waving and taking photos.
I think we raised a good 4-figure sum for the Sue ryder Homes charity too.
Nice weather, fish & chips for lunch and lots of Mini chat.

No, I forget to take my camera.
I have to say the sight of over 120 Minis in convoy was great. I was also delighted and proud that my 1964 Cooper 'S' Historic Rally Car won the 'Car of the Day' award. Aftr all, it's not a concours car, rather a clean but well-used rally car.

We stayed a little closer to home and went to Newark. Only a small show, but not a bad turn out and some nice older cars that I've not seen before.
