A Wedding Watch ...
Discussion
Not for me by the way!
A colleague at work has come to me asking for advice on what watch to buy her husband (Technically he is her husband - Second wedding!) as a wedding gift. Her budget is approximately £1,000 although would prefer not to reach such an amount ...
Any ideas? Sinn? I'll ask her what he is looking for in the watch (sport, dress etc) and post up more information

Depends if the husband knows/likes watches.
I have a feeling he doesn't know anything about watches, but he would like a decent watch to commemorate the day
ETA: Where could she buy a Damasko? I can't see any sellers on the Internet!

Well, if he doesn't know about watches, he might think she bought the Damasko in Argos (not questioning the quality; just that the name is meaningless to non-watch enthusiasts)... it might as well be an Astroavia or one of those £500 £49.99 Klaus Kobecs.
Best stick to big name brands.

I was going to say that but can you get an Omega for under £1k new? (I am not sure they'd appreciate... ahem... wabi... if they're not watch enthusiasts.)Actually, Christopher Ward might be a good bet even though it has an obscure name. I know someone who isn't a watch enthusiast, received a CW for Christmas and was delighted...
