Does anyone have a spare Series 1 FHC B post finisher for the R/H drivers side ?
They are made from thin fibreglass and painted black on mine.
Thanks

Haven't got my old car have you? That was missing the driver's side trim too biggrin

When I bought it, someone had made a near-copy in aluminium sheet, quite some lengths to go to I thought. Unfortunately it was always being clouted by the door frame so I left it off after the respray, lost sight of it some years ago otherwise you could have had it...

Hi wedg1e, mines grey with silver sills and silver side stripe, the interior was stripped when I bought it a few years ago(so could be someone starting to convert to race-car). I'm still in the process of restoring it!

Hi John, I have a complete series 1 2.8 FHC that I am keeping for spares for the race car. I don't need any of the interior (which is in pretty good condition), glass (other than the windscreen), electrical switches, dials or any any cosmetic stuff. Not sure what the part is that you describe in your original post but I'm sure I have it. Drop me an email through my profile if you are interested in anything.

Just had a look at the car and I think I know which bit you mean. If its the black plastic cover fitted between the drivers side window and the rear side window then, yes I have one. There are a couple of small stress cracks on the top left had corner but nothing a rub down and a coat of paint cant fix. I sure we can come to some arrangement wink

Oh, and if you are going to Rockingham at the weekend I could take it with me

Thanks Graham. A week last Saturday I was going to jack it all in and hang up my race suit, but after a few stern words from my son and daughter when I got home they changed my mind. The day after I bought a doner car. Sorry for taking a perfectly good car and stripping it but in my defence it is fitted with a diesel engine yikes and the person who did it should really be excommunicated (only kidding wink ) Within the next few days I stripped the parts I need, fitted said parts to racer, inspected all steering and suspension parts, repaired all the fibreglass damage and tomorrow its in the bodyshop getting the finishing touches and some paint (although its not quite the right shade of red but it will do).

A lot of thanks has got to go to Nitron who supplied a brand new damper and reconditioned the others within 2 days!!!!!!!! Quality service from a quality firm clap

Hmm, mine had silvery sills (metallic gunmetal really) which were sprayed to match the stripes but main colour was Ferrari Rosso Pearl. Last I heard it was in bits at HHC having been stripped by the guy I sold it to, for use as a race car. I think he got as far as getting a roll cage and then sold the lot as a project...
