E39 - how many were fitted with electric front seats

[buzzer]

I may be looking at changing the 7 series soon and would like a 5 series with a similar spec. Do many 5 series come with electric seats?

What are the other desirable extras and which is the best model to o for. It must be before march 2001

I found when I was looking that very few 523s do, some 528s, more 530s, most 535s and pretty much all 540s. Are you looking for petrol or diesel? I have a 523 and to be honest for the mileage I do (approx 10k) I would have been better just getting stuck in and buying a 540. The 535 is often called the runt of the litter as it has 530 performance and 540 consumption, however they do tend to be loaded with kit.

My 528 SE has and bloody comfy they are too, it's actually got more leccy toys than my old 735, certainly more toys than the extremely boring Passat that I'm trundling around in now
