Hi all,Hoping someone can point me in the right direction

I have been looking all over the net looking to hire a supercar/sporty type car
for my wee boy's birthday ( he'll be 13yrs ) you know the sort of thing, like the limo hire companies ( but not limo's,he'd hate that)

But can't find any companys that seem to do this sort if thing, they only hire them for the day etc,and I'm looking for something along the lines of drop of at school or a wee run,as he is a total petrol head, and want this to a total surprise for him.

Of course we could book Knockhill for thrill ride, but phoned, not available that day ( as it has to be week day and when he's off school )

We are taking him to Motor show at Knockhill on the 10th May.

Can anyone recommend a web site / company to me,I would be so grateful.

Great site by the way.

I'm in Glasgow

Try the boys at motac autocenter in Stirling, Im sure they do supercar hire and are pretty decent guys, failing that try a couple of posts on the specific manufacturer forums. Scanning through these there are a lot of really decent guys of which one may be glad to help being as its for a young ph.

How about this, not a supercar but makes a superb impact, especially at the school gates!

http://www.bigriglimo.com

No affiliation by the way, i've just seen it around ayrshire.

Thanks for help with link, I love my son,but @ a cost from £500 per 24hrs,this is just not feesible for me, but thank you for pointing this out to mesmile

I think I've found a missing link in the market, for super car hire, like the limo type thing, think of all the boys out there ( thanks Topgear) that would love a ride in a supercar for say 30mins to an hour on the real roads......I'm guessing it's the costs involved for insurance etc,as to why no companys seem to do this....confused

I know you get track days, thrill rides etc,but just not the same idea,as being driven to school/party etc in a super car.smile
