It is Italian Red and in good condition

Anyone interested ? Be good to get a little cash towards the new one.

Leigh,

No mate, not yet - will do if I see someone putting it in their boot.

Know anyone with a spare SE one Leigh ?

Also, one job on my list is to re-vamp my pop ups like you did - so might come a calling for some advice.

Cheers

Yeah but it looks so good now though.

Who said anything worthwhile comes easy ?

Got a quote from TET, just wondered if there was a cheaper credit crunch beating option - like you or someone has one squirrelled away somewhere !

Have you considered a 'Zender' spoiler? A few wedge owners have them fitted, and i see Douglas Valley have a grey wedge in with just that spoiler.

Whether it's something you'd consider?
It may not be any cheaper than a TET one of course. rolleyes

Depends on how cheaply you want one.;)

TET list a boot spoiler on their web site for just £135 .. seems pretty good value to me.

I think they were at last years BBWF with some bits going cheap.

Waynester - I did see that one being broken and must admit that I prefer the traditional SE one better. I spoke with Steve yesterday who has the 2 x 16 inch wheels for sale, one red, one silver .... he said you were going to go up there for them.

When he said you were trying to get there I began looking elsewhere.

He said that fitting just two 16s to the back made the car handle better ? What do you think ? I kind of wanted four so all the same. A garage is apparently getting in 4 x 16s soon in good condition but want £800+VAT for them which makes me think twice.

I polished the hell out of my 15s last weekend and after nursing the cuts on my fingers I must say ..... like them much more now.

Trevor at TET will send me an SE spoiler for £ 155 delivered. Its the only option on the table right now. I have asked if anyone has one spare in their garage. A long shot I know. Maybe someone is breaking a wedge that I have not come across.

I think my wedge looks totally different without a spoiler at the moment. Boot looks longer and the car looks lower. Mine has silver hinges on the boot and they have polished up nicely too.

It is strange how removing a piece of body work changes the entire look. Looking forward to fitting the SE though, the naked look does not bother me too much but think it will look better again with the SE on.

Trevors price sounds good .. would not be surprised if a breakers actually wanted more money anyway.
